Copton Ash is a family run garden and specialist plant nursery in Faversham, Kent. It began in 1978 with Tim Ingram and his mother on one and a half acres of former cherry orchard and presently opens for the National Garden Scheme with an attached nursery focused mainly on alpines and dry-loving plants.

The garden focusses on alpine beds and spring plants that take advantage of the early light and moisture. Snowdrops have great charm and diversity, followed by Hellebores which continue for months and then a flood of woodland species like Anemones, Hepaticas and Trilliums. As summer approaches there are more southern hemisphere plants, Umbellifers and Mediterranean plants planted to adapt to the changing climate.
